Today marks the final Fed meeting of 2024.
There is currently a more than 95% chance of the Fed cutting rates by 25 basis points.
If this materialises, it will be the Fed's 3rd rate cut of the year (a total of 100 bps)
But, the war against inflation isn’t over yet. All 3 inflation indicators, CPI, PPI, and PCE, are rising again.
The Fed has to tread carefully in 2025.
