Before I knew better, I was excited about IPOs. Oh, boy, what could be better than getting in on the ground floor of a Facebook or Amazon!  After three or four times of watching IPO stock fall off a cliff practically the next day, AND never recover, I've learned my lesson. Sometimes the ground floor can hurt you more than you would ever think! Give the stock some time-if it recovers and goes up, invest then! Still the ground floor, if it's really worth investing in.
