Living Stone : I have never used Shopify but have downloaded the app and am confused. Is it an app for creating an online store for selling only, or can you buy things on it as well? I thought perhaps it was like Temu but it doesn't appear to be. Amazon is a tech company? I had no idea and just thought it was a place to buy things. I do have an annual subscription to Amazon Prime so based on shopping experience I have to go with Amazon in first place, Temu in second and Shopify in third.
I did a google search and found a chart that showed Shopify as the leading tech company in Canada so I guess it is but most of the other companies in the list were unfamiliar to me except for Blackberry, which I wasn't sure still existed, so who knows? I use technology because it is pretty much essential unless one wants to live off grid, which I don't, and I trade tech options because they are popular and volume is everything, but I'm really not a fan. As an award-winning student of the now archaic  "Arts and Science"  philosophy I totally missed the current "Science and Technology" wave and didn't embrace it like so many others have.

Living Stone : My crypto holdings went up shortly after Trump was elected and by yesterday they had almost tripled in value. On the other hand, my options paper trading was surpassing the S&P index before the election but tanked during and after the election, possibly due to increased volatility. I normally do well selling out of the money put options but during and after the election some stocks went down further than my strike prices, and the few for which I had sold call options went up further than those strike prices. When that happens I can usually mitigate my losses by selling the opposite type of option with the same expiration date but for some reason I didn't do that. Perhaps I was too flabbergasted by what I was seeing??? In any event I didn't lose too much so I am thankful for that.

Living Stone : A surge in China-linked stocks is a great opportunity for traders that I wish I could take advantage of. As a beginner though, doing something new is a bit overwhelming for me as my focus is on options right now. Perhaps once I am more experienced, relaxed and looking to broaden my horizons I will be more inclined to participate. Is the surge sustainable? Who knows, but if it isn't there will probably be future surges for traders to enjoy.

Living Stone : I have probably flown Air Canada but as of right now I have no memorable experiences... the airline I have had positive experiences with is Air Transat... it was the first one I flew with as a child when at about age seven I flew home alone after a fun vacation at a relative's cottage... the staff took very good care of me, allowing me to sit in the cockpit until other passengers had left the plane and my parents were on the tarmac waiting for me... it is a very fond memory and although I don't fly much I try to fly Air Transat when I do...  they have great service!
