The Federal Reserve's recent meeting led to a significant drop in stock and Treasury markets, while the dollar hit its highest level since 2022.
The meeting's unexpectedly hawkish tone was highlighted by four main points:
-Reduced expectations for rate cuts
-Increased projections for 2024 PCE inflation
-Clear signs of inflation risks
-Dissent among several committee members.

I plan to have the funds in these growing for decades but I realized — if I put it in the TFSA, it’s tax free earnings but if I move it to the RRSP, it’ll get taxed when I withdraw it later. So maybe I have it in the RRSP from the beginning. But then will I be able rebalance my portfolio within the RRSP?

Now I created a TFSA and I would like to transfer some stocks to my TFSA account in order to max it out.
1. Is there a way to proceed to transfer my current stocks to my TFSA without having to sell the stocks, transfer the money between the accounts and rebuy the stocks.
2. I have a 69 000$ (cad) limit on my TFSA. If I can't transfer the stocks directly and I have to sell them first. Can I transfer the usd to the usd TFSA account?
