I plan to have the funds in these growing for decades but I realized — if I put it in the TFSA, it’s tax free earnings but if I move it to the RRSP, it’ll get taxed when I withdraw it later. So maybe I have it in the RRSP from the beginning. But then will I be able rebalance my portfolio within the RRSP?

I’ve got a sizeable investment in them and it just has been flat all year long. I thought the interest rates coming down should have helped them. Any thoughts? $TELUS Corp (T.CA)$

With the market anticipating rate cuts from the Bank of Canada, would it be wise to buy a GIC or just put money into $VANGUARD ALL EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO ETF UNITS (VEQT.CA)$ / $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ at this point?
