I took a bet on TQQQ before CPI announcement & was gaining before 8.30.
BUT... I took an INSTANT 4 DIGITS LOSS when CPI announced. I cut loss immediately & ride on SQQQ.
Sometimes, we just need to recognise the wind direction & not to walk against it.
Nobody is perfect, but try not be blinded by the pain & make the correct choice.

Even though CPI was higher than the estimate, it is actually down from July which was 8.5%. And CPI was 9.1% in June. Even if it didnt go as low as the estimate, it is still dropping. It should go even lower next month. The average gain from peak inflation over the next 12 months is 13.2% based on historical averages.
