The recovery momentum of the Malaysian glove industry is gradually improving, market experts believe that this is a good opportunity to accumulate glove stocks, and specifically mentioned the high-yield Chen Pi Industry and Hershey. $KOSSAN (7153.MY)$ and Hershey. $HARTA (5168.MY)$
The research report by Volkswagen Investment Bank on Monday indicated a good sign of recovery in the glove industry, as both product sales and average selling prices are rising, which will all be drivers of revenue growth for industry players.
In the latest quarterly performance, the glove industry players we are focusing on all saw an increase in product sales, leading to a sequential revenue growth.
According to data from the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), our country's glove exports grew by 14% year-on-year in the first half of the year, while production volume increased by 6% year-on-year. Therefore, analysts predict that overall glove sales will continue to rise.
Despite the losses incurred by Top Glove $TOPGLOV (7113.MY)$ still incurring losses, but Hartalega and Kossan Rubber Industries respectively recorded core net profits of 36.7 million ringgit and 26.8 million ringgit.
Better pricing position.
"We understand that the average selling price for every 1000 gloves fluctuates between 20 to 21 US dollars, slightly higher than the 17 to 18 US dollars at which Chinese industry players sell."
The analyst continued, as customer inventories are depleted, they are more willing to accept price increases, which narrows the price gap between Malaysian and Chinese players, indicating that market price competition will become more intense.
However, we are bullish on Malaysian industry players being able to continue raising their average...

Do you feel like your missing something due to market holiday today?
That feeling is often referred to as "market withdrawal" or "trader's withdrawal." It's the sensation of missing the usual market activity, excitement, and routine, especially when you're used to actively trading or monitoring the markets every day. This can happen on trading holidays or weekends when the markets are closed.

It is too expensive to own a car in Singapore, I would rather invest the money needed to get a car and continue to use public transport
I find it more convenient to take public transport as I can play games on my portable gaming console during the journey, can't do that if I'm driving
Also good to reduce carbon footprint by taking public transport

Hello Mooers!
I would like to share some financial assets that are on my watchlist and/or in my portfolio and, at the same time, would like to hear from your comments and opinions.
With many mentioning that a rate cut may happen, probably within the next 12 months, my plan would be to invest in the following:
High-yield bonds
Crypto
REITs
Small-cap stocks

US stocks were mixed, with the $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ weighed down by weak manufacturing data, while the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ and $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ got a boost from gains in $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$.

Tonight, we're diving into the wild, wacky world of cryptocurrency, where Craig Wright, the self-proclaimed Bitcoin inventor, just got served a big ol' slice of humble pie by a UK judge. That's right, Wright's been telling everyone he's Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious genius behind Bitcoin, but the judge ruled he's about as credible as a get-rich-quick email scam!
Now, Wright strutted into the High Court in London like he was about to claim the th...
