Andrew Sankey OP : so then my next question would be, do the current options that are in play have to be closed out as if they were in a margin call in order for the reverse split to happen? or would that be something that is caused because of the reverse split?

Andrew Sankey OP : it's a mystery to me. just read an article saying it was like 7.5 APEs for 1 AMC. I've seen other reports that say different. it's so damn confusing trying to figure it out so just got into the habit of check a couple times a day and ignore it the rest of the time
