Cost me over $1,000 and 6 months to collect, as we chased paperwork through one subcontractor after the other, after the other. My best guess is it cost them at least $20,000 to pay that $300 bill (probably more). I learned, cash in advance, no matter how famous the company might be; and that the bigger the American company is, the more grossly inefficient they are. Break them up!!! There is a lot of value in that company being smothered by their own size. They are like a beached whale that can not support their own weight.

Bezos, the founder of American e-commerce giant Amazon, recently participated in a US$87 million Series B financing of Indonesian startup Ula. This is his first investment in the e-commerce field in Southeast Asia.
Ula issued a statement saying that Prosus Ventures, Tencent and B-Capital led this round of financing, and Bezos Expeditions, local private equity fund Northstar Group, Southeast Asia venture capital funds AC Ventures and Citius also participated in the investment.
Ula’s previous financing includes a USD 10.5 million seed round in June 2020 and a USD 20 million A round in January this year.
