Think the gov is telling you to fear Musk because NOW they suddenly care for its citizens. Hell no, they're afraid of him bringing everything to the digital world and them all losing their "easy-to-lose" paper receipt money trains. They won't be able to afford that 5th yacht and 2nd private island built off the taxpayers backs if they can't "lose track of 50 million dollars suddenly" anymore.
@Mini0n:Ha, the only thing that's keeping the post office relevant is the fact the government still sends letters because it's been run by a bunch of old digitally incompetent rubes that'd rather put the money into their and their buddies pockets (they know how to do that blindfolded) instead of trying to spend money on advancing the system and learning something new. Once the vast majority of the functions are finally brought to modernity the post office will be done for. They've been on their last leg for 20 yrs as is, I don't know how they think feigning anything of any sort is going to help them at all. Just going to speed up that final process of taking old yeller out back, and they don't have any alternative products to venture into like the library did. Google can just hire some out of work taxi drivers and uber vagrants and bam GUSPD.
