I think investors are worried about a trade war with China and people just generally don’t trust companies with heavy Chinese ties. I really like the stock and want to buy in but IMHO the Chinese thing has kept me from doing so as of late. You make a good point about almost all their revenue is from China though. I suppose after 6 months or a year into a Trump term we will see how relations go and that will affect the stock price. We know the market can be completely irrational lol. Companies that have zero revenue and hype can be insanely overvalued and companies with excellent numbers heavily undervalued. The market pretty much always eventually corrects itself though.

Biscayne : Your forgetting the Biden admin has essentially made private prisons illegal under his administration. As a result these companies had to pivot mostly to illegal immigrant detention and deportation services. Trump will also use executive orders to allow private prisons to get back to full contracts with the BOP. Right now they only have contracts with local state governments. So they will have 2 fold revenue increase on a massive scale for AT LEAST one Trump term of 4 years. I bought in at $15 because I believed Trump would win and this stock would soar. I’m still holding for sure I think it has room to grow. Obviously right now the value is priced in. If sentiment changes politically I’ll likely dump some shares, but probably not all. Keep in mind GEO group also has security services and other sources of revenue, they also are an international company with prisons abroad, with lots of expansion opportunity.
