The recovery momentum of the Malaysian glove industry is gradually improving, market experts believe that this is a good opportunity to accumulate glove stocks, and specifically mentioned the high-yield Chen Pi Industry and Hershey. $KOSSAN (7153.BMS)$ and Hershey. $HARTA (5168.BMS)$
The research report by Volkswagen Investment Bank on Monday indicated a good sign of recovery in the glove industry, as both product sales and average selling prices are rising, which will all be drivers of revenue growth for industry players.
In the latest quarterly performance, the glove industry players we are focusing on all saw an increase in product sales, leading to a sequential revenue growth.
According to data from the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), our country's glove exports grew by 14% year-on-year in the first half of the year, while production volume increased by 6% year-on-year. Therefore, analysts predict that overall glove sales will continue to rise.
Despite the losses incurred by Top Glove $TOPGLOV (7113.BMS)$ still incurring losses, but Hartalega and Kossan Rubber Industries respectively recorded core net profits of 36.7 million ringgit and 26.8 million ringgit.
Better pricing position.
"We understand that the average selling price for every 1000 gloves fluctuates between 20 to 21 US dollars, slightly higher than the 17 to 18 US dollars at which Chinese industry players sell."
The analyst continued, as customer inventories are depleted, they are more willing to accept price increases, which narrows the price gap between Malaysian and Chinese players, indicating that market price competition will become more intense.
However, we are bullish on Malaysian industry players being able to continue raising their average...

I. What happened last week?
In recent days, global markets, led by the U.S. stock market, seem to be struggling.
Last Friday, the U.S. non-farm payroll data and unemployment rate came in worse than expected, sparking fears of an economic recession and widespread market panic.
U.S. technology stocks were especially hard hit. In the Mag7 group, only $Apple (AAPL.US)$ saw a slight increase, while the rest declined, with $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ falling s...

$Tesla (TSLA.US)$
Troubled Waters Ahead
Some major selling took place last week in the markets. The selling was especially pronounced with Tesla as its share price has fallen over 12% in the past 6 trading days.
From a technical standpoint, it looks like there will be more downside in the near future. But I wouldn't be surprised if we see a small rebound in price, or at least a consolidation period, before the selling continues.
Is the Rally Over?

If you believe we are headed for a recession, this is one of the best times to get hedges. Discount prices on hedges as risk is not really on most people’s radar. What do you think?

Hi, mooers!
US Treasury bonds
Bond investors have been closely watching the yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds, which has been on the rise since August and recently hit a high of 4.354% before easing back slightly. As of last Monday, it stood at 4.328%, close to levels not seen in over a decade.
This sustained increase is largely driven by concerns over inflation, as well as uncertainty surrounding the Fed's monetary pol...

Where Are We in the Cycle?
The bulls think that we are at the beginning of a bull market, but the bears think we are near the end of the cycle. Are you bullish or bearish about the economy? Give me your reasons in the comments section.
The recent sell-off in the markets has bolstered the bears viewpoint. The chinese real estate debacle, inflation persisting, the Fed signaling higher for longer, bearish seasonality, the Fitch downgrade, and skyrocketing credit card deli...
