In an unusual year, the stock market performance has been difficult for global investors. Hit by ongoing geopolitical issues, supply-chain problems, and the highest inflation in 40 years, the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ has an 18% correction since the beginning of 2022, making it the largest sell-off since 2008.
