burnwood : unless you are doing  short term or day trading, I don't really see how buying shares in companies that are openly geared towards Valentines day being sustainable throughout the year. I'm not saying invest in nothing, it's honestly better to invest than just have your money depreciate in value stuffed in a mattress or in a savings account, but I'd say that if I were going to give a person I loved a stock that could potentially be considered a Valentines day gift, I'd probably buy a stock or etf in the medical sector.  However, it would be only after doing my due diligence of research, first.   The reason? Well, what better way to show love than to invest in a company or bunch of companies that save a life? there's likely no greater love than those people that work in that field, and save people every single day.

burnwood : It really depends on the generation of people... personally, I don't see much point to it, but the target audience is mainly a younger generation that may want a more heavy technology integrated lifestyle.  Facebook is also trying to stay relevant in this sense, in order to grow its user base, and not wither away like MySpace did.  Personally, I don't need as much integration, and I find the name just too weird. I also find it a little in poor taste that it was revealed while everyone was and still in some sort of lock down from the pandemic... almost as if they are trying to take advantage of the situation, but that's just me being a bit of a skeptic.
