Candy21 Christy 8866 : It’s bad for you. If you had 100 shares at $1, if the company dose reverse split, say 10-1, that means after split you will have only 10 shares at a cost of $10. But if the stock is trading at .50 per share before split, it will only be worth $5 per share after split. Which means you would be down $5 per share. Most companies have a further drop down, when they do a reverse stock split.
