$MSFT.US$ Morgan Stanley analyst Keith Weiss pointed out in a research report that in the first half of 2021, the revenue from data platform solutions accounted for approximately 12% of Microsoft's (MSFT.US) total revenue, which was higher than About 10% in the same period in 2017.
Weiss said: "Investors often overlook Microsoft's absolute leadership in this area."
Weiss pointed out that considering Microsoft's leading position in data platforms and related businesses, including large data platforms such as Azure database, Azure analytics, SQL Server database and Power BI, the analyst believes that the strong database demand environment will have strong performance for Microsoft in 2022 Growth plays a vital role.
Weiss had previously rated Microsoft as "overweight" and maintained the target price at $364. As of yesterday's close, Microsoft's stock price fell 3.26% to $328.340.
