The chart above shows the GDP trends of Malaysia over the past 30 years. The three previous negative growths were due to the Asian financial crisis, the US subprime mortgage crisis, and the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown.
The growth in 2022 is due to the low base in 2021. IMF predicts that Malaysia's GDP for 2023 will be between 4.3% and 4.5%. The GDP growth in the first quarter of Malaysia was 5.6%. It is expected that the growth in Q2 will be slower due to the slowdown in consumer spending and declining exports compared to Q1.
This Friday, the Q2 GDP will be released. Feel free to leave a comment and guess what the Q2 GDP will be in %. The author's own prediction is 3.6%. Feel free to leave a comment with your own prediction. Let's see who can guess the closest number on Friday. 😎

I’ve been an Apple enthusiast for over 10 years, using products like the iPhone, Mac, Airpods Pro, and Apple Watch. I’m even considering an iPad for charting. After the iPhone 15 release, here are my honest thoughts:
1. The design is similar to the iPhone 14, but now lighter with titanium.
2. The cameras are incredible, ideal for content creators.
3. New action buttons enhance accessibility.
4. It has a USB Type-C port, replacing the old lightning port. Ho...
