Slow and steady wins the race as well. The sharp nosedive will always remind me never to be greedy and chase quick squeezes or high risk plays.

Traded $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ yesterday to bet on good earnings and turned out to be a good one. Good job on their ecommerce profit margin
Same goes with $Shake Shack (SHAK.US)$ few days ago.
Good earnings definitely can boost your entire portfolio.

After dipping my toes into get rich quick squeezes, I realized I am still much more comfortable in slow and stable moves. Will update as I remain disciplined throughout my journey.

I tried to follow and went all in recklessly and the market decided to teach me a good lesson. Overnight I lost all my gains I had since I started the competition and now I am humbled. From rank 302, I dropped to 2875th.
Back to being slow and steady climb, some shortcuts really aren't worth it.
Stay disciplined friends!

I have always been a slow and steady trader. Every trading day to risk 10% of my portfolio gain that 1% and I stop.
At times I really want to try being high risk and get the adrenaline rush, so I have a chance to win, but I also realize maybe being slow and disciplined has its advantages as well.

Achieved positive returns of 1.03% in the first week, capturing gains from only one large-cap earnings report, which was $United Airlines (UAL.US)$ at +17.40%. Notably observed a large movement from $Bright Minds Biosciences (DRUG.US)$ , with the majority holding in DJT. It was evident that the top rankings mostly focused on small to mid-cap stocks to capture significant gains.”

When thinking about building wealth, one of the main debates revolves around capital gains versus high dividends. While both strategies can generate returns, choosing the right one depends on several personal factors, including age, risk tolerance, and financial goals.
For younger investors, particularly those in their 20s and 30s, I believe focusing on capital gains over high dividends can be a more effective way to ...

In the paper trading competition, I achieved an amazing result, helped by the announcement of the China stimulus plan, which boosted all China-concept stocks. However, it also took resilience and confidence to hold on until the second last day of the competition to capture the large swing movement. I could have exited earlier with a day trade and missed out on buying back at a lower price.
