Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD) said its acquisition of Xilinx (NASDAQ:XLNX) is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022 rather than this year as they have not yet secured all approvals.  The company said its conversations with regulators continue to progress productively, and it expects to secure all required approvals.

$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ If the past few days is any indicator, they'll run this and the entire market up tmrw or at least this and semis. Good closes have been brutally sold the next day while bad closes have ripped face. Trapping put buyers and call buyers back and forth, definitely gonna learn from this and sit on my hands and away from the Market next year around this time.

$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ don't buy short term options. there will be so much volatility. merger happening not happening, fed increases rate not increase, growth vs value shit.....but longer run this will be star of 2022.
1) gaming Sony and Microsoft both estimated double the console sale....
2)  data center business booming
3) tesla new model 3 and y ryzen chip
4) new product line up

$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ will recover a bit tomorrow. Volume for today’s loss is smaller than the 50 day average volume. There is no reason for a 3+% decline on a day that both Dow and SP500 is rising.

My issue is that 50% of my portfolio now is tech - AMZN, NVDA, MSFT, GOOGL and few others. I was thinking it's time to trim this and go to less concentrated portfolio slowly - but given that these guys are a huge part of ETFs like SPY I'm wondering if that's a good direction.
What do Bogleheads think of dividend-yield concentrated ETFs ins...

For the first week or so?My estimate is around 137-150 USD - (based on current multiples).Would love to see other opinions from more experience people :D

$Upstart (UPST.US)$ Unlike most fintech, they're actually profitable and have been for more than a year now (profits are up 1,300% from last year in the first 3 quarters of 2021). They're also growing tremendously fast (more than 100% yoy in just the first 3 quarters of the year) and their list of partners is growing quickly. Best part? They're down about 60% from recent highs making their current price a pretty decent entry point
