Understanding the stock
You must understand if the drop in prices is due to a fundimetal change in the business or the environment. E.g include FB transition into Meta and high interest rate environment effecting growth stocks. If no fundiemntal changes apply to your stock and that its simply dropping due to poor market sentiment or healthy correction you can keep averaging in. Hence why we must always save bullets while investing.
