Effie Gray : buying at a discount doesn't drop the price buddy.  buying the bid does, this is what people don't realize all you hold people no one is purchasing the stock so it's not moving and you are hoping for a squeeze.  buying at the ask or even slightly higher(which doesn't matter when you are rebuying at a lower price.)  does raise the price.
