ekenikichi : How do you buy cspx?

ekenikichi : I used option tradings to "hedge" against market crash. If you don't understand what I meant, simple terms would be, I am buying an insurance against market crash. Like how accident insurance pays out to you if you have an accident. In my case, I have this "insurance" payout in case of market crash.
I spent around 4k usd and buy "put" options as you can see (ignore the sell "put" option as it is confusing if u are new to options. It was meant to reduce my cost). Like all insurances, if nothing happens, u ended up paying for nothing. But if accident happens, then the insurance plan comes into action.
As of this posting and screenshot, s&p500 is up again so it's a loss now. It was about 1100usd profit last night (s&p500 at 406) and I didn't take a screenshot. Sorry. This is the index for those who are not familiar. It tracked USA 500 companies. $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$
Please look on the second picture which I posted and try to understand the chart. The more s&p500 index drop, the more my options will worth.  I placed at 30% because I have checked before that most major market crashes dropped around 30%. This is what will happen during 30% market crash (s&p500 at around 280usd).
Two choices:
1. Most of my stocks holding are value and stable companies' stocks so I can ride it through and wait for recovery. I am not worried. At the same time, my options will be worth around 25000 usd. I will then sell my options and use that money to buy more of my existing stock holdings which I believe their stock prices will recover after the market crash. 25000usd will be extra cash for me to use during market crash, on top of my own spare cash.

Or I can cash out my existing stock holdings of that time and made a loss BUT at the same time, I also cash out my options so that I can reduce my total losses (remember that my options are worth 25000usd at that time of crash). This is in case I needed cashflow during the market crash for something else like medical emergency of myself or family member. So because of my options, I will not suffer a big loss of value on my stock holdings when I sell them during a market crash but my loss will be cushioned by the 25000usd when I sold my options then.
I hope you learnt something from my post that option tradings are not just for predicting which direction the market goes but also can be used like an accident insurance if you need one. And of course, last but not least, my "earnings" for my portfolio must be above 4k usd this year in order to say that this year is a green year. I have "spent" 4k on the options so I must say I need to earn more than 4k to cover the cost of it before I can say this year is a profitable year.

19th may 2021 was a volatile day and thus, s&p500 was down and I am able to show a rough idea of what will happen to my "insurance" if s&p500 goes down.

ekenikichi : I am from Singapore and I have SGD, USD and HKD margin account. It's opened automatically when I signed up. I can see SG, US, HK and CN market but customer service told me I cannot buy from CN market yet. Maybe it's a local regulation
