I feel that there is not much significant rise or drop these days. Perhaps it would be good to buy when relatively low and sell when there is an increase. Rinse and repeat but never all in now, due to the uncertainty.
The only feeling that I get is that the rich gets richer while the poor remains/ become poorer.
As for me, my life remains the same. Although I am unable to own a house, I can still make ends meet, enough for my basic necessities.
My friends are probably doing way better than me, but they don't flaunt their wealth. So I don't know.. ![]()

My biggest mistake so far was DCAing on $Aurora Cannabis(ACB.US$ when it was like a falling knife. Cash holdings went down from $11k+ to $5k on that one stock alone. It was a lot of money for a beginner. ![]()
Yet I was too stubborn to cut loss, thinking that it would rise again but it never did for the entire year that I was holding it. The price became so low that it underwent a reverse stock split and my 600 shares became almost less than half of it. That was my wake up call and I sold it at the “best” price it could reach and removed the stock from my watchlist, never going to touch that industry again.![]()
Lesson learnt, stop-loss order is very important.![]()

Frankly speaking, I have totally forgotten that today is a quadruple witching day and invested/traded as usual. Although I bought some shares at higher prices before they fell to even lower prices, I did my DCA as usual. So as the market recovers, I am breaking even at the time when I'm writing this. ![]()

I used to invest via DBS for stocks such as $Singtel(Z74.SG$ $Mapletree NAC Tr(RW0U.SG$ but commissions were high and was eating into my profits so I stopped my adventures in the Singapore market entirely in 2019. ![]()
In December 2021, I decided to give local brokers another chance and came across MooMoo. After exploring for a few days, I would say that this app seems interesting and as we move into 2022, I can't wait to restart my adventures in SGX and scout around for stocks with good dividends payout.![]()

Nibbled $2k+ over the past 2 years with a starting capital of $15k. Not the best out there but I'm contented. Still learning.
