As I grew up I never really talked with my father until we started to find a common topic, something we could share about everyday. it was trading! We laughed, we cried, we shouted, we screamed, we were happy. We went through ups and downs,it was a rollercoster of emotions, however it was very fruitful. Emotions can be very troublesome and scary sometimes and especially when it comes to trading : it makes you do irrational decisions sometimes.
I didnt understand in the beginning but my father explained to me through a parabole : trading is the same as love and relationships actually. When you invest too much in it, you might loose yourself. When you dont invest enough, you have nothing in return. When you expect too much, you are dissapointed. So don’t hope.
SO yes The biggest trading rule i learnt through pain and joy was “DON’T PUT YOUR EMOTIONS INTO TRADE, NEVER HOPE”
