I am watching these 2 stocks closely for now. $Merck & Co (MRK.US)$ and $Apple (AAPL.US)$ as both of them are expected to announce their financial report next Thursday on 28 Oct 2021. With the current Covid-19 situation, the demand for covid-19 medicine remain constantly high or even higher. Merck & Co will definitely earns more than previously. Traced back the dividend history, shareholders expecting about 3% returns. Which is relatively high. My target price for Merck in the near term would be above USD100. Recently Apple has launched new products and their iPhone 13 is another great hit in the market. If Apple can solve the chips shortage issue, my target price for Apple would be above USD180.

In the UK, there have been more and more cases of subvariant virus infections mutated from the Delta new coronavirus. Scientists warn that this new subvariant virus may be 10 to 15% more infectious than Delta.
