Same set of statistics - open out to different interpretations. Fact is average freight rate is flat in 2023 and rallied in 2024. Hence market has reacted with stock price increase but profit results disappointing. It is an almost certainty that full year profit at best match that of 2023.
It is foreseeable that global rate will decline in 4Q. Thus will depress investor sentiment and weigh down the stock price.
