Bnpl is just a rehash of the entire basis of credit cards. With cards you're at least guaranteed a safe space where transactions funnel through a 3rd party vendor so any weirdness can (hopefully) be detected and stopped. In short, the concept and financial risks remain no different from having a credit card as it boils down to individual fiscal responsibility to spend within your means (no card or financial planning is gonna save a haphazard spender) but if utilised correctly provides opportunities for individuals to plan and execute spends in a way that provides better opportunity costs than otherwise limited to.

I've done a little bit of both. Am frankly still quite new at technical indicators. Mainly use moving averages to screen out market volatility. Highly recommended if you're trying to determine long term investments to see trends to buy in.
you may not need diamond hands to buy and hold Chinese stocks but you'll definitely need a solid bunch of nerves to ride out these near term dips. stop loss strategies may cause u much more losses in the near term as the market and government continues their rout on the stocks. but imo if you're investing long term, with the nerves to ride out the dips (even capitalising on them with liquidity) you'll come out on top.
Having said that, don't think anyone predicted the epic downfall of the private tuition industry in China, but that is nothing compared to the aims of the ccp in trying to achieve technological supremacy in today's tech race....

$Micron Technology(MU.US$ is poised to rise after announcing their first dividend in nearly 25 years along with their new buyback strategy. Investors now not only get to ride the semicon wave, they get to reap the rewards of their investments through dividend payments as well. Post announcement of this news the stock has been on a rise! This is one wave that no one imagined would turn up.

$Boustead(F9D.SG$ anyone knows why the daily trend is mismatched to actual traded high low in the past 1 week? I recall boustead was trading at about 1.2 in the past week +/-0.01 but the chart reflects its trading at 1.12/3.

How to invest? Really depends on whether you're investing for growth, or investing for volatility. IMO earning season is better for investors aiming for growth to decide what companies to invest in because it allows you an opportunity to assess their performance and compare them to historical trends. If you're aiming for volatility, well there's plenty to be found in high risk regions isn't it? 😁😁😁
My picks for Singapore for the long haul are $Genting Sing(G13.SG$ $Jardine C&C(C07.SG$. They are continuing to underperform but historically have been buoyed by various factors in Singapore, the pandemic will eventually come to pass, and we'll return to business as usual with even more growth than before. And well if we don't then whatever stock won't matter anymore cos we'll be extinct right? ![]()

As a beginner using trading apps as opposed to traditional stockbrokers, I've found the functions here overwhelming. It's great that mooSchool posts tips and tricks to the various useful functions so everyone benefits. The analyses of BBO gives real time feedback on buying and selling pressures, which is great if one trades frequently.
