This year's inflows into ETFs worldwide crossed the $1 trillion mark for the first time at the end of November, surpassing last year's total of $735.7 billion, according to Morningstar data. That wave of money, along with rising markets, pushed global ETF assets to nearly $9.5 trillion, more than double where the industry stood at the end of 2018.
Most of that money has gone into low-cost U.S. funds that track indexes run by Vanguard Group, $Blackrock (BLK.US)$ and $State Street (STT.US)$ which together control more than three-quarters of all U.S. ETF assets.
Technically they're not the same concept, but the $1 trillion landmarks still remind me of $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ hitting a $1 trillion market cap on Oct.25. It showed how influential the company is.
Are you part of the one trillion? Would you tell me about the reason that you buy or not buy ETF?

$CURALEAF HOLDINGS INC (CURLF.US)$ $Green Thumb Industries Inc. (GTBIF.US)$ $TRULIEVE CANNABIS CORP (TCNNF.US)$ The top 3 US cannabis operators or MSO's (multi state operators) Curaleaf (CURLF), Green Thumb (GTBIF), and Trulieve (TCNNF).
The Cannabis sector has been beaten down since the all time highs back in February.
This is primarily due the lack of progress surrounding federal legalization/decriminalization, Safe Banking, and the inability for up-listing to NASDAQ and NYSE. After the democrats won the presidency and control of both houses many investors felt these would occur quickly, and as yet none have panned out and consequentially these three stocks have been punished and are down 47%, 48%, and 56% from the February highs. Each of these three companies will do over 1 billion in revenue in 2021 and all have YoY rev growth rates of over 100%.

$TRULIEVE CANNABIS CORP (TCNNF.US)$ Some companies are already profitable with reasonable valuations. Look at Trulieve. Their profitability will be that much stronger after legalization when Federal restrictions on deductions are relieved and they are able to secure more preferable financing. The black market also shouldn't be a major concern as long as the legal market provides a convenient consumer experience. Steam isn't held back by video game piracy, and it's because they provide an excellent and stress-free buying experience. The winners of the legal market will deliver that solid experience.
