Singapore has been getting expensive, not just for luxuries but also essentials. Most evident is the price of hawker food as well as mid-range eateries like Ya Kun and Toast Box. When a traditional kaya toast set costs more than a McDonald’s value meal, you know something is not right. A long weekend for 3 days is not enough for me to travel.![]()
I will combine my annual leave during Chinese New Year for extended vacations. Just my plan to take leave on Jan 29-31 and enjoy a 9-day break. Just spend time with family but no travel this time.![]()
Also plan to take leave on April 15-17 and 21 to make Good Friday a 1-week holiday. As for the destination, might go to Japan during the Good Friday holiday, as that's the time for seeing sakura! A good spring f...
