Currently I have a bit of Chinese ETF. It is part of my portfolio strategy for diversification. It’s good that Chinese market is recovering!

Strategy shifts: With the expectation that the US interest rates coming down, I started to buy bonds.
Unexpected gains: Tesla provided some unexpected gains as it has been treding down since the start of the year.
Future tactics: I may continue to buy more stocks and bonds if there is market adjustments resulting in a sugnificant drop in value.

During the period of high interest rate environment, it is absolutely satisfying to put funds into relatively low risk money market funds to earn a decent return!
I will continue to hold the position and see how it performs in the coming months!

My current living costs consist if food and transport mainly. I do not really spend much on wants but mainly on needs. I do indulge in good food sometimes.
I will continue with this spending habit to save as much of my salary and invest them.
I will continue to hold and add more to my portfolio with index ETF.

I started investing 3 years ago as I feel that it is one of the easiest way to preserve and grow wealth. So I invested in ETF as I do not know which specific companies to invest in. My strategy is invest in low cost index ETF like SPY consistently and just hold. I believe that it will yield good returns in the long run!

1. I think one needs to have at least $10k per month of salary before deciding to own a car.
