#Investing in US stocks
When I started looking for enterprise related to SpaceX to invest in, #DXYZ came into my view. After research, I found that it invests in many startups in the form of VC, including well-known companies apart from SX such as #OpenAI and #Stripe. The stock price soared from a low of 9 to a high of 100 after going public, then dropped steadily to a low of 11. I started buying at 15, caught the low at 11. Based on its asset-to-equity ratio of around 5, the P/E ratio from 11 to 15 is only 2-3 times. I understand that it belongs to a closed-end fund, with relatively low liquidity. The normal daily trading volume is only hundreds of thousands. I was prepared to hold it for a long time when I bought in. Suddenly, it surged to the highest point of 50, making me excited but quickly calming down, readjusting my pace. Investing in US stocks requires training your mindset, controlling your emotions and pace. Persevere, and you can be like practicing Tai Chi, knowing when to advance and when to retreat. I know the process is very challenging, but as long as you make a small step of progress every day, you can still achieve your goals. Best wishes 🫵 fragile friend.

This is a common question that comes up among investors. There is no right or wrong answer but for those who are not adept at timing the market or who have no time or energy to monitor the market everyday, I feel dollar cost averaging (DCA) is an easier and safer approach as it averages out the per unit cost over time. Putting aside a set amount of money for investment at regular intervals is analogous to a form of regular savings (albeit with a higher level of risk tha...
