Annual inflation rate in the US accelerated for a second straight month to 3.5% in March 2024 from 3.2% in February, above market forecasts of 3.4%. Compared to the previous month, the CPI rose 0.4%, the same as in February but above forecasts of 0.3%.

The money supply in the U.S. is shrinking fast，M2 money supply has dipped from a peak of $21.7 trillion in July 2022 to $20.87 trillion in December 2023. M2 is down a little over 2% on a year-over-year basis and 4.31% from its all-time high set in mid-2022. It's the first notable drop in M2 money supply since the Great Depression.

The MM's kept their foot on the brakes using the dark pool because they didn't want to enable another pump and dump situation, but it's now time to let the market control the price.
