These are retail heavy plays hence they are classified as meme stocks. But honestly if you look at the business model for both Sofi and Palantir, you will realise that they are actually doing the right thing ( from a business standpoint ).
Check out the companies they bought:
PLTR acquired Foundry and Gotham
SOFI acquired Technisys and Galileo
These are arsenals which would benefit them in the long run.
