Can someone explain why is the FRCB stock still trading. My understanding is that the bank has been taken over by Chase so it does not exist anymore as a separate entity…why is it still trading and is there a chance it will go anywhere? $First Republic Bank (FRCB.US)$

Zifeng Su recently sold more than $20 million worth of the company's stock, a move that one expert believes is a departure from her past behavior but that AMD says is not unusual. Declining sales YoY, because vegans don't actually like it. Most consumers were on normal diets and bought it to try this temporary fad.
COGS are 2x revenue. Never mind after SG&A and CAPEX. Cash burn is so big they need to raise equity every so often. And even if they grow, they'd need to raise so much cash and dilute the shit out of the common shareholder.
Yet the CEO makes one tiny unkeepable promise of margin expansion -how can he deliver? he didn't even care to ex...

I keep hearing about the chip stock AI induced bubble.
Stock prices and market cap of these stocks have shot up quickly to the stratosphere, so I understand the bubble concern.
However, the valuation stocks like NVIDIA really doesn't seem outrageous based on earnings and predicted future earnings and the speed in which earnings are growing.
Question: Is because people believe these projected future earnings are way off? Or because demand will eventually dry up and the stocks ...
