    Latest Updates:
Headline market tracking exchange traded funds start Black Friday's trading session deep into the red as a new COVID variant strain is discovered in South Africa.
Market tracking funds such as $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$, $SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average Trust (DIA.US)$, and $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$have all have slipped to the downside as all three major indices are falling.
SPY, DIA, and QQQ are three of the market's most prominent ETFs with $423B AUM, $30B AUM, and $209B AUM, respectively.
Early into trading, SPY is -1.8%, as the S&P 500 has dipped 88 points. DIA is -2.5%, and the $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ has found itself plummeting 900 points so far. $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$ is -1.4%, as the Nasdaq is down 280 points.

What sectors are investors buying in?

$Lucid Group (LCID.US)$ would be my best guess for who does it. They have the most efficient EV technology to date. They are also a company that I think Apple would trust with design.
$Ford Motor (F.US)$ would be another logical guess given they just hired Doug Field who previously led Apple's design.
But for me the elephant in the room is that $Apple (AAPL.US)$ is going to want all the profit for themselves and therefore no one is going to want to build a car for them. Apple's endeavors with autos reminds me of an episode of Seinfeld when Kramer and Newman try to start a rickshaw business: "Pace yourself because you are going to have to work long hours for very little pay."
What good self respecting auto company is going to want to work for Apple? Related to that question is another question: do we really think Apple has some moat over other chip makers? Even giving Apple the benefit of the doubt that they really did create breakthrough chip technology for self driving I find it hard to believe that in time somebody like Mobileye is not going to create something to rival it and they will give automakers a better deal.

The fear and greed index was developed by CNNMoney to measure two of the primary emotions that influence how much investors are willing to pay for stocks.
The fear and greed index is measured on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. In theory, the index can be used to gauge whether the stock market is fairly priced. This is based on the logic that excessive fear tends to drive down share prices, and too much greed tends to have the opposite effect.
Be fearful when others are greedy. Be greedy when others are fearful.
    ---Warren Buffett
    Fear & Greed Index
What emotion is driving the market?
    Market Momentum: Extreme Greed
The S&P 500 is 5.65% above its 125-day average. This is further above the average than has been typical during the last two years and rapid increases like this often indicate extreme greed.
Last changed Oct 27 from a Greed rating.
Put and Call Options: Extreme Greed
During the last five trading days, volume in put options has lagged volume in call options by 60.47% as investors make bullish bets in their portfolios. This is among the lowest levels of put buying seen during the last two years, indicating extreme greed on the part of investors.
Last changed Oct 27 from a Greed rating.
    Junk Bond Demand: Extreme Greed
Investors in low quality junk bonds are accepting 1.92 percentage points in additional yield over safer investment grade corporate bonds. While this spread is historically high, it is sharply lower than recent prices and suggests that investors are pursuing higher risk strategies.
