Both Buffett and Cathie applied the same view of value to different aspect.  I believe market is always adaptive, we have multiple factor that can bring to our investment. Howard Marks mentioned in his memo, the human behaviour had been the same cyclical over the years. However, technological advancement leads us to do more with less. Human need time to change. So we should adapt to both: invest the things that will not and no need to change(BRK); adapt to the changes at the same time(Ark).
