Capital Gains refer to the profit made when the value of a stock increases, allowing investors to sell at a higher price than their purchase cost. This form of return is often appealing as it represents the growth potential o...

The market had a busy week with many top companies revealing their earnings, driving fluctuations in key indexes. Despite record highs earlier in the October, all major indexes ended October down:

Today’s movement started strong $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ looks good to stay above the 5850 levels. Seems like its a simple decision to just roll with the momentum.
Today’s P/L looking good at 6%. Looking forward to ending Oct on a high.
Initially saw an opportunity that $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ will retract a little. But jumped out as didn’t want to risk with the time decay, when the volume and momentum isn’t there for big swings.

When choosing which stock I can go into, I see a lot more potential with high capital gain. eg. $Bright Minds Biosciences (DRUG.US)$ $BioVie (BIVI.US)$ $GameStop (GME.US)$. All these shows what we can gain or lose from high capital gains. Even during the market drop in 6 August 2024 presented us with another opportunity. There are a lot more opportunities everyday. The moo community does share a lot of opportunities in the stocks comment sections everyday.

Forward PE ratio of less than 25 - it seems enticing for a tech stock.
In my opinion, it's largely depending on one's belief in its vision and future growth potential - especially considering the recent DOJ x Google Breakup case as well as the increasingly competitive AI landscape.
What's your thought?
$Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$

How can you be good at investing without taking care of your personal finances? upon reading this post, I assume you are not in bad debt — There are good and bad debts, using mortgage loan to purchase properties is conder good debt that could generate higher yield during low interest rates period, whereas bad debt is taking loan for uncertain outcomes that could lead you nowhere but debt. Having debt give you less room to manoeuvre, less room means whem opportunity a...
