1. It's vehicle lineup is aging rapidly, the cars even look dated now.
2. EV infrastructure growth is slowing down
3. EV sales are slowing down
4. Tesla still only turn a profit due to emission abatement credits sold to other automakers.
5. Self driving cars could also be ICE or Hybrid powered
6. They're already second to market with self driving, and the Tesla system is handicapped by using nothing but cameras for input. No lidar, no radar, nothing but cameras
7. Their future designs are impractical and won't really be built (I mean a BUS with no ground clearance and enclosed wheel wells, what were they thinking)
8. The robot "Optimus" is not even at the level of sophistication where the public should have even seen one. It's embarrassing. Boston Dynamics' Atlas is doing backflips carrying a tool bag, and Optimus is shuffling along like he's a patient in a nursing home.
9. Even if Tesla's Full Self Driving IA" actually worked, which it doesn't, it's extremely narrow, and the research and technology wouldn't be applicable to literally any other use case, except for driving.
10. TSLA isn't Elon Musk. he has private ventures and Space-X to rely on. as TSLA investors, you don't.

He's been promising (and SELLING) "full self driving" for nearly 15 years, and it's still not here.
What happened to all those $10,000 - $20,000 up front payment options for a computer that was "FSD Capable" on 2014 Model-S vehicles. Was it refunded, or is it technically still waiting to happen? When does that become fraud?
What about all the $250K deposits that have been paid for new Roasters?

Nisdey OP broke ask : with the benefit of hindsight, unfortunately all the HODLing in the world wouldn't have been worth it.
It's not yet recovered those losses, and I would have had a boatload of capital tied up in something that to this day has continued to depreciate. I did the grown up thing and cut my losses, then stayed the fu*k away from this stupid stock and anything related to it.
Instead I bought shares in a hard drive manufacturer that people mistook for a quantum computing outfit and doubled my money in 2 days.
