US President Joe Biden was at the inauguration of $General Motors(GM.US)$'s Factory Zero yesterday, the company's first electric vehicle factory, and he gave a speech in which he gave credit to GM CEO Mary Barra for "electrifying the entire auto industry."
Now, Musk has responded to $Tesla(TSLA.US)$'s Full Self-Driving beta testers Kim Paquette on Twitter, who said, "What a slap in the face to all the American Tesla employees who worked so hard to actually lead the way."
    "Indeed," said Musk.
What is clear is that the electrification of transport would perhaps not be happening on the scale that it is without Tesla, which in 2021 remains the market leader on a global scale.
Mooers, do you think the president exaggerated facts and who's the real leader in the electric auto industry?
Who electrified the entire auto industry? GM or Tesla?

Just three days after becoming available, $Tesla(TSLA.US)$ has canceled the 0 down payment option it offered in China.
The reason is that the 0 down payment plan has led to a surge in orders, making the vehicle delivery time longer, the customer service agent said.
Tesla China's wholesale numbers in September reached 56,006 units, up 394 percent year-on-year and up 26.5 percent from August, data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) early last month showed.
It looks like Tesla can sell as much as it wants.
Will you buy a Tesla if the 0 down payment option is available?
It seems like that some people think Tesla stock price is too expensive.
But if Tesla can maintain its current profitability, do you still believe its shares are too expensive?

Asia stocks set to get boost from Japan; Yen slips
Asian stocks looked set to climb early Monday as traders digested the outcome of Japan's election and fresh all-time highs for U.S. shares. The yen weakened and a dollar gauge was steady.
Futures advanced about 1% for Japan, where Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's Liberal Democratic Party preserved its outright majority, avoiding worst-case scenarios suggested by opinion polls. Australian shares pushed higher, while futures for Hong Kong slipped. U.S. contracts rose following records for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 on overall optimism about corporate earnings.

Yet stocks are broaching new records and October shaped up to be the best month of the year.
To Wall Street veteran Doug Ramsey, Leuthold Group chief investment officer and co-manager of the Leuthold Core Fund, it looks like the market melt-up has just begun.

Chris Harvey's reign as the year's biggest bull won't extend into next year.
The Wells Fargo Securities head of equity strategy, whose 2021 S&P 500 target is 4,825, predicts Wall Street will stage a vibrant year-end rally and then see a losing 2022. Cost of breakfast foods hits 10-year high
The cost of food commodities that make up a typical breakfast has soared to its highest point in a decade under the strain of bad weather and supply-chain crunches, providing another in a long list of upward pressures on global inflation.
