I've heard and looked into claims that " $Tesla(TSLA.US$ is so much more than a car maker", "they are not a car maker", " $Tesla(TSLA.US$ will dominate the market" etc.
Here is what I think will happen:
$Microsoft(MSFT.US$ was very hyped around 2000. It reached 58 USD in Dec of 1999 and crashed soon after. It took 17 years to recover. That's in nominal terms, so recovery was even longer.
