OceansWave : A stock can remain very oversold or overbought levels for an extended period of time.. we have seen many like SMCI, NVDA which has in the past been overbought for many weeks.. RSI is just an indicator, but does not determine the pattern of how the institutions will be reacting.. bear in mind we retail traders are small fry and cannot influence too much of the market.. so we got to follow the trend of the market makers.. hope it helps and makes sense
