Apologies for the uncertain information. It's based on memories from a few weeks ago, but I saw reports that former Chairman Bernanke said, "Even if tariffs are raised, prices won't go up much." Furthermore, this is another uncertain memory, but I read a report that Bessent was questioned by a Democratic congressman about the burden tariffs would place on citizens, to which he replied somewhat along the lines of, "Even if tariffs go up, the dollar will also rise, so it won't be that troublesome" (I believe this was in the Nikkei). Right now, I am reading a book written by Bernanke. Today, I just read a section about the monetary policy during the first Trump administration. It's a Japanese translation, but the dislike for Trump was unmistakably evident in the text. (This book also well explains the relationship between the presidents and the FED since the great inflation era of the 1970s, but the descriptions regarding Trump were particularly detailed, I think.)

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), the second largest PC processor manufacturer in the United States, announced on the 6th that their semiconductors will be used in Dell Technologies Inc's enterprise PCs for the first time.
AMD unveiled a new processor, explaining that AMD-based PCs can achieve the best performance in running artificial intelligence (AI) software. The company executives revealed at a press conference in Las Vegas before the start of the technology trade show CES, that Dell has decided to adopt this processor in some of their PCs for corporate customers.
In addition to AMD, Intel and Qualcomm also introduced new components for notebooks and desktop PCs at events before CES, claiming that each product can provide the best performance in processing AI workloads.
Dell has already adopted AMD's semiconductors for consumer PCs, but for enterprise PCs, a decision is being considered to adopt a combination of AMD and Intel components in order to improve performance and flexibility.
