The Ministry of Finance of Malaysia posted an article on the X platform saying that between February 26 and May 17 this year, the ringgit appreciated by 2% against the US dollar, while the Singapore dollar, the Chinese yuan, the Indian rupee and the Thai baht fell by -0.2%, -0.4%, -0.7% and 1%, respectively.
The post indicated that the government's comprehensive strategy strengthened the ringgit, and the average daily trading volume of the financial market increased to US$17.6 billion (approximately RM82.9 billion) during the period.
