PhotoSynth : I think the bottom may well be in now……. A 5-1/2% move up in the face of no news, and shorts that have been pretty aggressive in keeping the market trending sharply downward,,there’s just something else going on I don’t know about, Additionally;. I also saw a huge order come in just after the close from Friday. The only other piece of fluff is the fact that Trump said he’s planning on retaking the Panama Canal back from Panama despite an international agreement that the Canal was handed over to Panama some years ago. This would be an international violation of the UN charter in seizure of what is definitively a sovereign country’s territory which would be an act of war…… Boy this sounds familiar..     Nonetheless, for now, TORM appears to have made a turn with some gusto. Let’s see what the market has to say……

PhotoSynth OP Space Dust : When you say “the only use” ,  I think you may want to refresh your analysis of just how many absolutely critical uses for antimony exist. There is a cornucopia of uses over a broad spectrum of industries, not the least of which is munitions for the military and semiconductors, and on and on. That’s why the government just slapped  a status on it as a material protected by its new status as being critical to national security. This is not a benign title.

PhotoSynth OP : Well, the Fed put a major hole in my short squeeze view point ….. sheesh…..However, given antimony’s new status as a material protected by now being critical to national security, it would appear that UAMY, given the current moat that it has on U.S. antimony mining, I can’t see this company doing anything but becoming more valuable, especially with its significantly intertwined relationship with PPTA. Between the two of them,…and a $1B government grant in the offing ,… things appear to be on track to go very right for this company. So when this “fear” factor settles down, and investors start buying again, there is ample reason to believe that we may still get a significant short squeeze…… just from a lower level…..we’ll see. Buckle up!

PhotoSynth : Absolutely NOT…… based on what? For the moment, they have as close to a monopoly as you could have, especially with China having suspended exports to the U.S. There is currently no one else in the U.S that has an active antimony mining operation to compete with them. And the U.S. government has just classified Antimony as a resource critical to national security.

PhotoSynth OP Ultratech : Clearly……China and Trump are at war right now, doing a lot of things that “matter” in the long run ……However, of all the things that are likely put a dent in Nvidia’s price,……Litigation over tech “infringements”  isn’t one of them……It’s almost laughable,….After all, China’s entire economy over the last 25 years was built almost entirely on Stealing U.S. technology and innovation.

PhotoSynth : Based on what? Their customer base continues to grow and grow on both the Government side and commercial side. As A.I.’s capabilities continues to advance in an exponential way, the need for Palantir’s unique and exclusive protection will grow with it,…as the risks A.I. poses are simply NOT an acceptable option for an ever increasing pool of corporate America…..And no one else has anythingthing remotely close to Palantir’s offerings to protect highly vulnerable clients……which is starting to just about everyone.
