Moomoo claims that US residents can trade US stocks and options without any commission or platform fees, but did not inform users about contract fees. These fees are not disclosed during the trading process and only discovered after the trades are completed! When I placed an order for sixteen (Tesla) options, I was charged $0.7 x 16 = $11.2. When I sell these options, I will also be charged the same amount (16 x $0.72), totaling twelve dollars. If the fee details were shown before pressing the trade button, I would not have placed the order!
