I have 2 deep value company intentionally write-off assets and voluntary filing bankruptcy to wipe out shareholders, when they still have a lot of cash and net asset on book: Venator and SPIRIT airlines. QMengColdJoke Raymond4111 : It depends on your account type and broker. Some can only sell long positions and buy back short positions. Some cannot be operated online, requiring a phone call (generally phone orders incurring broker fees of several tens of US dollars), and some cannot be done on the app but can be done on the browser version... I haven't received any notification saying not allowed to trade, haha.

QMengColdJoke : many brokers only allow selling or short covering on pink sheet. Try another account or another broker. just place order like BUY limit 0.01 dollar. It will not hit.
