R30R OP 10baggerbamm : Fair points. The future of AI has been oversold but still does exist in a wide array considering how everyone wants a part of AI somewhere. It is dead money now but only because of manipulation. The results have been good but not “good enough” to line up greedy pockets.
Expectations are killing its value, not performance or product. There will be an upside - like you said, maybe not right away and perhaps not until Blackwell ships out and performs without kinks.

R30R OP 105225042 : Here is the thing - many legacy employees in a unicorn have vested equity to show for bonus / performance rewards.
To be able to gain their rewards, they need to sell at certain times with adequate notice. So the incentive season for the org is now (Aug - Oct). While I’m sure it is the market, but not letting the prices fall heavily all at once is important for an any mega cap org.
On the flip side, no org is going to buy back shares at inflated prices. So the balance between these two is to operate within a range so all goals can be met. Add a blockbuster product to the equation and then it’s all flying up. If the performance of the product is sub-par, price tanks. But while that is a huge unknown, the current circumstances can be controlled considerably.
I expect it to be rangebound for a short time and then show glimpses of bull and bear moves until Blackwell ships / next ER.

R30R OP 10baggerbamm : Agreed. Add to it how gullible some are because they don’t do their research/homework (like who needs to when every second person is an expert? ).
I also think the political agenda is easily achieved through business regulations - and it is much easier to sell fear that something is not working so an opportunity can be set up in future to jump into the money train when it takes off.
I’ll stick to not expressing my political views in public but the less that is said of the government now, the better it is.

R30R OP 10baggerbamm : The order books seem full and there is far more demand for the products. It’ll only take one week of above average performance for the market makers to change their tune.
As far as the source of info goes, there is always differing ‘facts’ that have been reported. However, some of the online content is also very heavily edited. Best to read multiple reports to form an opinion - even seemingly innocent comments are blown out of proportion lately.
