    Hi, mooers!
    How’s everything going?
Due to geopolitical conflicts and market turmoil, July saw uncertainty in the stock market. As Q2 financial results are published successively, more risks will emerge. A volatile market is as torturous as hot summer.
However, opportunities are always accompanied by challenges. How did you protect your investments? It’s time to review your trades in July!

Just sell the rips and buy the dips, but easier said than done. Im mainly doing options now and will eatch markets closely every week.
overall, im still majorly down on my positions, but i will slowly maintain my put premiums and try to get back up

My family encourages me to learn and try new things, trading included. However, they support me by allowing me to read up and watch videos on it, but never hesitate to remind me not to risk what I cannot afford to lose. I was more anxious at first, but slowly I understood their words. Patience is a key factor in trading and I’ve never thought of doing trading as a permanent source of income, but just for passive income and investment.

    Hi, mooers!
How's everything? The second half of 2022 seems to be tough. It appears that occasional disappointment and frustration are just part of being a trader. You will feel much better if your loved ones are supportive.
But not everyone understands how trading works. Even worse, your parents might regard trading stocks as just gambling. Trading for a living might not be acceptable to  your families and they prefer you have a stable source of inco...

    Why did you start investing?
Guess that most of the mooer would answer something like: for money growth, for financial independence, or for early retirement, etc.
To conclude, the motivation for most people to invest is to "build a better life."
Good intention, right? But sometimes, people forget why they did this and make things worse. It is supposed to be a joyful thing to do.
Let's see those mooers who always keep a positive attitude.

I prefer dealing with options eg selling of puts on long term conviction stocks and selling of covered calls after I’m assigned those shares. However, exceptions also exists. One such exception is my naked selling of WISH calls. As I’ve been watching this stock since last year, the price had fallen drastically and tends not to recover. It is pretty steady now after falling from $10 to $1.50. I’ve been selling naked calls since there is a very Low risk that the price will shoot up. Bee...

    Hi mooers,
Although the past few months have been difficult for economies and markets, we've made it to the next stage of our investing journey. Give yourself a round of applause!
But you probably won't be happy to hear that the rest of 2022 might not be easy either. Recently, many analysts have cut their US midyear economic growth forecasts. The gloomy outlook for corporate earnings and sharp rate hikes by the US Fed have continued to dampen the st...

Just knowing that i have the skills to make a good trade is rewarding in itself. My long term goal is to achieve passive income and having such a skillset would be beneficial in the long run. i would like to spend my extra cash on my loved ones and have a meal out together. Time is the most valuable resource and i am glad that i am able to put aside both time and money and spend it on my mum. Love u mum!

Growth investing using fundamental analysis is one of the oldest and most basic styles. This is an active investing strategy. It involves analyzing financial statements and factors about the company behind the stock. The goal is to find a firm whose metrics show the potential to grow in the years ahead.
This style of investing looks to construct a portfolio of 10 or more individual stocks. If you're a beginner, it can take a lot of time to do the research needed to make this strategy a ...
