RichTraid assailed : In my opinion, US if wanting a wider range of investments and options. Aus if franking credits would benefit you, or you have specific Aus stocks that you are aiming for a capital gain if no dividend.
Personally, I like Aus corp hybrid bank bonds over shares. Safe as,(the big banks only), reasonable yield, known income stream and min profit if redeemed at face value.
