$Spirit Airlines (SAVE.US)$ as long as they don’t go bankrupt, the company has Deep F—-ing Value and major Short Squeeze potential… since they’re HEAVILY shorted. Their assets, including over $700 million of cash or IOUs on hand, are valued at about $1. 26 billion more than their liabilities, yet their market cap is hovering near $262.3 million. $Spirit Airlines (SAVE.US)$ Still huge loss but not going to bankrupt. So price at this level is safe, probably not good for buy but good for hold. I will average down a little recently.
Cost structure has some improvement despite higher labor. Literally they soft layoff people… As Joe Biden will be fired, fare hike would be a common practice. 10% increment in revenue is expected. Just need a justified timing.
Rebranding is also a key factor.

Typical useless news. Absolutely zero evidence to support flagging demand. The data shows people are flying more than ever. Including to Rome! Which as seen some the highest temperatures due to climate change and among the highest increas in US carriers carting American’s over there.
Pete Buttieg please be quiet and fix some bridges.

RoNo : October 20 is the big day. Either debt term is renegotiated or Elevon pulls the plug on credit card processing .
RoNo QMengColdJoke : Learn:
The agreement between Spirit Airlines and Elavon, the credit card processor, was detailed in Spirit’s Form 8-K filing with the SEC, dated September 10, 2024. This filing describes an amendment to extend the agreement’s deadline for Spirit Airlines’ senior secured notes until October 21, 2024. If the company fails to extend or refinance these notes by that date, the agreement will revert to its original expiration date of December 31, 2024. This modification followed earlier changes that extended the term of the credit card processing agreement through December 31, 2025, with provisions for automatic extensions.
